We Care About The Community
Verdad feels its regulated license to operate our assets is only acceptable in conjunction with a social license to operate as delegated through the support of communities and families adjacent to our assets. By seeking to organically source jobs for our business in local communities, we strategically align ourselves with the economies of the communities themselves. A few of the philanthropic organizations we support are described below.
Southeast Weld County Fair
For nearly a century, the Southeast Weld County Fair has supported the agricultural heritage and youth of Southeast Weld County. The oil and gas industry has inherently become interwoven with the long-standing agrarian principles Weld County embodies and Verdad is honored and deeply respects the opportunity to support the ongoing traditions the Fair represents and the community volunteers that put on this annual celebration.
Lochbuie After-Glow Senior Center
Verdad Resources delivered a donation check to Lochbuie After-Glow Senior Center in Weld County to help fund their annual programs. The Lochbuie After-Glow Senior Center was established in 1979 and provides enrichment programs to over 16% of the seniors living in the town of Lochbuie, Colorado.
We Care – Weld County
Formed in 2006 to support the community and families of Weld County Re-3J district, Verdad is pleased to support the ongoing efforts of this organization. Since its inception We Care has helped over 140 families in the Roggen, Keenesburg, Hudson and Lochbuie communities.
